Saturday Fun

Today we had nothing planned because of the big storm we were expecting. We woke up with sunny skies and decided we wanted to do something fun! We called the Kabines and went together to the Fire Fighter Museum and then to lunch. It was so much fun, there was a play set with a fire pole and a truck you could get into and "drive". It was a nice way to spend the morning and aren't the girls cute in their souvenirs?!

The first day of school was yesterday! It went really well, I am glad to say. Abby was really excited to go and we got there a few minutes early. Reese didn't want to let go and Claire says she was pretty whiny the whole day BUT I think she will get used to it quickly!

Meet the Teacher!

This morning was meet the teacher at pre-school. It went great, both of the girls love their teachers, they were Abby's teachers last year So, we already know and love them!!! Can't wait til Wednesday! I do have to go shopping for "the list." It is long, I think. I'll add it up and let you know the total when I'm done!

Morning project

I finally got a child lock for the pantry door. I installed it this morning and it didn't take long for Reeser to figure it out! She is constantly getting into the junk food and climbing the shelves to get what she wants. Most of her tears are because I try to keep her out.

From the Lips of Children

Abby was sucking her thumb in my lap just now. I said "Is that a good silky?" (That's the name of her lovie.) She said "Uh-huh...it smells like poo-poo." She still won't let me wash it!

BIG GIRL!!!!

Reese has not been staying in her bed this week for naptime and she gets up soooo early (7am!) Hahahah, that IS early for us. So all of us, especially Reese, have been uber tired. I had Kane take one side off her crib today to make a toddler bed. I never did that for Abby but I feel like she's more likely to get back in the bed if her door is locked. Hopefully that will make naptime as usual and she will be back to her happy self in no time. She saw it and was kind of excited, she said "Apart!" For the first time all week she wasn't crying when I closed the door. So I'm hopeful.

On a separate note, I am sooooo sorry I have been slack in the comment department! I am so busy lately and have been spring cleaning and such. When school starts (ONE WEEEEEEK!!!!!) I hope to get back to my usual social self.
